Potential Penalties

2 Point Penalty

Moves resulting in light contact. Moves under braking from the defensive car, causing the attacking car to heavily alter their line. Pushing a driver off line to force an overtake. The stewards reserve the right to award reduced penalties of 2 points for other incidents.


4 Point Penalty

Moves resulting in more than light contact. Movement under braking from the defensive car, which causes an incident. Forcing a driver slightly off track. Deliberately blocking drivers from passing on the straight under blue flags.


8 Point Penalty

Moves resulting in heavy contact. Moves which result in a penalty for the other driver. Moves forcing drivers very off track. Mixed tyre compounds on front and rear


Race Disqualification

Intentional crash. Going slowly, stopping or reversing on track. Brake checking. After 3 penalties in a championship season the stewards have the power to remove the driver for the rest of the current championship.
